Job Description The Assembler will assemble, test, and pack manufactured products used in professional racing including road, oval, drag, aircraft, desert, and marine. Duties Assemble hose, tubing and/or electrical wiring harnesses, and more according to directions. Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications. Test high performance parts and hoses for use in many fluid and air distribution applications across all forms of motorsports and aerospace. Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks. Ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems and alert supervisor. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. Detail-oriented and consistent. Works well as a productive member of a team, in a fast-paced environment. Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing. Education and Experience Prefer candidates with automotive training and an interest in motorsports. High School diploma or equivalency is required. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time. Must have manual dexterity, to assemble products as directed. Must have excellent hand-eye coordination. Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
