Full-Time / 32 hours / Days (M-Th 6:30a -3p OR 7a - 3:30p)

No weekends or holidays

Summary :
Provides clinical supervision for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation patients and participants enrolled in Summa Health System's Phase II through Phase III cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.

1 . Formal Education Required :
a. Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology with focused course work in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.

2. Experience & Training Required :
a. Internship or work experience in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.
b. BLS Certification
c. ACLS Certification (Certification must be obtained within one year of hire date and maintained throughout job tenure).

3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
a. Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional (CCRP) Certification through AACVPR suggested but not required.
b. Demonstrated high level of monitoring skills including, but not limited to: 12 lead ECGs, Pulse Oximetry, BGT, and Functional Work Capacity Testing
c. Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity

4. Level of Physical Demands:
a. Medium, Occasional (0-30% of day) 20-50 lbs: Ability to walk/stand/push/pull arm/leg controls of exercise equipment frequently throughout day.
b. Must be able to physically assist patients onto exercise equipment.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
