About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Labor and Delivery License: Required Certifications: BLS, NRP required Must-Have: - Epic Experience - First-time travelers accepted - Every other weekend availability Description: Position is for a high-risk Labor and Delivery RN. Ratios are 1:1. Candidates will float within scope to meet facility needs. No call required. Guaranteed hours may vary as the client may cancel assigned shifts without penalty. Special requirements include experience with high-risk labor and delivery, postpartum tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal, and water births. Daily census includes approximately 10 in labor and 6 on the antepartum unit. This is an acute care magnet teaching facility with 317 staffed beds. The unit supports interdisciplinary services including IV teams, physical therapy, and social services. Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, and adults. The facility conducts 200-300 births per month. Candidates must have experience charting in Epic. All candidates must comply with the background policy and complete required compliance measures.
