Senior Litigation Paralegal

A well-established Tampa law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal / to support attorneys handling sophisticated litigation matters.

This is a dual-function role combining advanced litigation support with high-level administrative assistance. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, polished, and comfortable managing complex matters in a fast-paced law firm environment. The position requires someone who can work independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage litigation matters from intake through discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and post-judgment activity

• Track court deadlines and maintain calendars for state and federal matters

• Draft, format, and file pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, and other legal documents

• Handle e-filing and assist with discovery, document production, and privilege review

• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

• Prepare trial materials, exhibits, witness files, and litigation binders

• Review and summarize records, transcripts, and discovery materials

• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, vendors, and court personnel

• Provide direct administrative and executive support to attorneys

• Manage calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, correspondence, and follow-up items

• Assist with client intake, conflict checks, engagement documentation, and matter opening

Qualifications:

• Approximately 7+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment

• Strong experience supporting complex commercial litigation matters

• Knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures

• Strong trial preparation and case management experience

• Experience with litigation support, document management, and eDiscovery platforms preferred

• Strong Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat skills

• Excellent communication, organizational, and project-management skills

• Paralegal certificate and/or bachelor’s degree preferred

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
