Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide diagnostic imaging services by performing X-ray procedures in a busy trauma facility. Flexibility to float between inpatient and outpatient settings is required to meet patient care needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray procedures to assist in patient diagnosis.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment following departmental protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of performed procedures in the EMR system.
• Adhere to all regulatory standards, including certification and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Possess a current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the California Department of Health Services.
• Hold current CPR certification and fluoroscopy permit.
• Demonstrate experience with EPIC EMR charting.
• Have at least 2 years of acute care imaging experience (preferred).
• Successful completion of previous travel assignments is a plus.
