Travel RN in Labor & Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Tacoma, Washington, delivering high-risk and routine obstetric care while supporting a multidisciplinary team. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to impact patient outcomes across a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent labor and delivery nursing care to high-risk and routine obstetric patients, following AWHONN guidelines for ratios.
• Circulate independently during deliveries and assist with C-sections, including catching babies and transitioning newborns.
• Manage titratable drips such as magnesium, pitocin, and insulin, ensuring patient safety and accurate medication administration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including OB/Neonatologists, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately in EPIC electronic medical records, maintaining compliance with hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Washington or multi-state licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Ability to titrate drips such as magnesium, pitocin, and insulin.
• Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in C-sections.
• Strong PACU skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and adaptability skills.
• Ability to document in EPIC EMR accurately.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Previous travel experience
• Intermediate or advanced FHM
