Primary Care Physician

Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) - Internal Medicine / Family Medicine Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. The physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a broad range of acute and chronic conditions while building long-term relationships with patients and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and/or family patients. Conduct physical examinations, medical histories, and routine health assessments. Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' medical needs. Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, and other evaluations. Prescribe medications and provide appropriate treatment recommendations. Perform preventive care, health screenings, and patient education. Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers when needed. Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation. Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, specialists, and other clinical staff. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, lifestyle changes, and preventive health. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow applicable clinical and regulatory standards. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM). Active and unrestricted medical license in the applicable state. DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one. Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Preferred Qualifications Experience in an outpatient primary care setting. Experience managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and cardiovascular disease. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
