Surety Account Executive

Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of contract surety accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique surety bond needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with underwriters to assess risk, determine bond eligibility, and negotiate terms and conditions.
- Prepare and present bonds for clients along with related invoicing, consents, and supporting miscellaneous bonds. Track bid results and client’s backlogs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions related to contract surety bonds.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Producers and Senior Account Consultants, to provide comprehensive service to clients.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of experience in the surety industry, with a focus on contract surety bonds.
- Strong knowledge of contract surety underwriting guidelines, risk assessment, and bond pricing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
