• Licenses/Certs: KS RN License or Compact, BLS, ACLS
• Experience: 2+ years in Cardiovascular Cath Lab, Mac Lab, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, temporary pacemakers, right heart cath

What You'll Do:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Assist with procedures involving intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, pacemakers, and right heart catheterizations
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and support post-procedural care
• Collaborate with cardiology and radiology teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about procedures, care plans, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols and safety standards

What You Need:

• Kansas RN license or Compact license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiovascular or Cath Lab setting
• Strong cardiovascular and hemodynamic knowledge
• Ability to adapt to dynamic clinical situations and work independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment:

This assignment is at a leading Kansas City, Kansas, facility specializing in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures. You'll be part of a dedicated team providing top-quality cardiac care, ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes. Orientation includes attendance at KU NEO on the first Monday and Tuesday of your start week, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
