About this Position Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimum supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. May occasionally be requested to float to other Family Medicine clinics to assist in covering patient load. Required Qualifications Vocational/Technical: Certification as Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nursing (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date). At least six (6) months previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience. Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses: Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensurerequiredin the state of OK by an accredited school of nursing/medical assisting. Current CPR certification Valid Driver's License Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Skill in delivery of patient care and procedures -Medication administration Triage experience Direct patient care Knowledge of medical terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Computer literacy required Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required Referral/authorization experience required #J-18808-Ljbffr
