Associate Attorney - Banking & Lending (3-5 Years' Experience)

Zeichner Ellman & Krause LLP is a medium-sized prestigious mid-town banking law firm that fosters an environment where talented individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences can work in a collegial atmosphere. ZEK’s growing Banking and Real Estate Lending Practice is seeking an attorney with three to five years of experience.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA)
• Admitted to practice law in New York or passed the bar and awaiting admission
• Three to five years of experience as banking and lending associate

Responsibilities:

The role will include drafting documentation for bank and non-bank financial institutions and private lenders for transactions secured by real estate, various other types of personal property, as well as for non-performing remedial matters. The ideal candidate should have strong writing, organizational and analytical skills and is capable of running a transaction as part of the team and on their own.
