Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ speech and language development from August 24 to May 28, 2027. This role focuses on providing speech-language pathology services to a dynamic group of elementary and middle-grade learners, working primarily on a single campus encompassing four buildings. With a manageable caseload of 30-40 students, you'll deliver vital therapy to children in grades K-6 or K-8 with mild to moderate needs.

Your expertise will empower students to build communication skills, enhance academic performance, and nurture social interaction. Both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows will find the supportive environment ideal for professional growth.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current, valid NC Speech-Language Pathology license
• Valid NPI number for Medicaid billing
• SLP-CCC or CFY accepted; backgrounds in school-based and pediatric settings are strongly valued
• Experience serving students with mild to moderate disabilities is a plus
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Comfort providing services via in-person and teletherapy platforms

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct intervention for speech, language, and related disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain accurate records and Medicaid documentation
• Serve one campus with students across four buildings, ensuring consistent and comprehensive therapy
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school team meetings
• Adjust techniques and approaches to meet individual student needs
