If you are motivated by craftsmanship, accountability, and impact, Mott is a place where your work truly matters.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform welding operations to detailed specifications and engineering requirementsProperly clean and prepare components prior to weldingMaintain qualification to Mott MES welding specificationsMaintain cleanliness and standards within a clean-room work environmentAdhere to all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and safety requirementsMajor ChallengesLearning and mastering multiple welding processes and specialized equipmentStrict adherence to HP cleanliness and quality requirementsConsistently meeting precision and inspection standards in a regulated environmentExpected Performance OutcomesWeld solid and porous metal products in accordance with specificationsAssemble components for welding operationsRemove oxidation from welds following welding operationsClean all solid subassemblies prior to weldingPerform leak testing and required quality inspectionsShear solid and porous metals to specificationForm solid and porous metals to specificationPin-mark required information on finished hardwareRequired ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent1–3 years of manufacturing experience with TIG weldingPrior experience with TIG welding equipment preferredTechnical Knowledge & SkillsTIG welding proficiencyAbility to read and follow work instructions, prints, and specificationsUnderstanding of quality and cleanliness requirements in manufacturing environmentsSelection Criteria (IDEX & Mott Values-Based Behaviors)Strong attention to detail and qualityPositive, professional, and constructive attitudeTeam-oriented with a collaborative mindsetDesire to learn and continuously improveOrganized, proactive, and dependableAbility to adapt and perform in a fast-paced, changing environmentCompensation$22-$26/HR plus 2nd shift 10% differential payMott Corporation is proud to be an IDEX business, committed to Integrity, Trust, Teamwork, and Continuous ImprovementAre you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?The starting compensation for this position is $25.00 per hour.
