Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to critically ill newborns in a state-of-the-art NICU unit. Deliver comprehensive, family-centered nursing care utilizing advanced equipment and protocols to ensure optimal neonatal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer age-specific care to neonates requiring respiratory support, including CPAP or ventilation.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as line placement and intubation, adhering to sterile techniques.
• Monitor and interpret bedside GE bedside monitors and other neonatal equipment.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate and support families through the neonatal recovery process and specific care needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and CPN systems.

Qualifications:

• Valid active RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital or specialty neonatal ICU experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE.
• Experience with infants on CPAP, ventilators, and central line stabilization preferred.
• Skilled in performing neonatal procedures, including circumcisions and line placements.
• Demonstrate strong family-centered care and team collaboration.
