Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

Assist with the management and growth of profitable metal fabrication business for GH Metal Solutions while demonstrating exceptional customer service. The CSR will play a key role in supporting the strategy and execution of a world-class customer experience.

Function in the Job

Sedentary Work- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Job Function

1. Accurately enter customer orders and maintain detailed account information.
2. Interface with customers via phone and email; provide follow-up status in a timely manner.
3. Troubleshoot issues with customers orders effectively in compliance with all associated training and work instruction to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
4. Ability to maintain a professional and effective relationship with internal and external customers while coordinating information sharing.
5. Assist in management of on-time delivery, quality performance, gross margin, and customer satisfaction to meet expectations defined by management.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by the Inside Sales Manager.

Required Skills

• Associate degree or above preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work reasonably with a customer to resolve a problem, and work from written or verbal instructions.
• Previous customer service experience or related experience preferred.
• Must be team oriented, excellent written and verbal skills, and have proven experience with telephone etiquette and people skills.
