Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $15.38 / Hour Job Schedule Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security-related issues. Monitor public areas and restricted locations for unauthorized access, disruptive behavior, and policy violations, and help to deter incidents through visible presence and timely communication. Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with directions, de-escalation, visitor management, and other security-related duties as needed based on site procedures. Minimum Requirements Must have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Must meet hospital vaccine requirements. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
