Primary Functions Pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. Responsibilities Loading, transporting, delivering, and unloading items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner. Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness, correct charges, and customer satisfaction. Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles. Collect payments for delivered items as needed. Provide excellent customer service; answer questions and handle complaints. Adhere to assigned routes and schedules. Follow transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record. Prepare reports and other documents related to deliveries. Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc. Perform any other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Skills Good driver's record (DMV/MVR) and a valid driver's license suitable for the vehicle class. Proven experience with box truck or at least 24 ft‑long truck driving, including winter and mountain environments with snowy conditions. Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. Strong time‑management and customer service skills. Attention to detail. Ability to use forklift or pallet jack to move pallets and/or products. Successfully pass background checks inclusive of criminal history and drug screening. Pass physical examination and Human Performance Evaluation for lifting, carrying, push‑pull, climb, and repetitive posture. Meet vision and hearing requirements: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment. Physical Requirements Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs. Frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting; use hands to touch, handle, feel; reach with arms. Perform repetitive hand use, push and pull up to 50 lbs, reach above shoulder. Frequent bending and squatting. Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area. Must be able to drive at any time of day, including daylight and nighttime hours. Education and Training High school or GED equivalent. Work Conditions Office and warehouse environment. Occasional standing or sitting for extended periods. Required wearing appropriate PPE. Exposure to hot/cold weather and loud noises in warehouse. Frequent computer and telephone use. Frequent communication with people throughout the day. Deliver products in inclement weather conditions.
