Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Part-Time | Skilled Nursing Facility

Location: The Gardens at Stevens – Stevens, PA

Schedule: Part-Time (PRN option available)

The Gardens at Stevens is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking for a flexible schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of residents recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.

As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll help residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function, empowering them to achieve greater independence and a higher quality of life.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments.

• Provide skilled speech-language pathology services to address speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.

• Establish measurable short- and long-term treatment goals and modify plans based on resident progress.

• Educate residents, families, caregivers, and facility staff on therapeutic strategies to support continued progress.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver coordinated, resident-centered care.

• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to positive rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the State of Pennsylvania.

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered.

• Skilled Nursing Facility experience is preferred but not required.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for providing compassionate, high-quality resident care.
