Location: Arcata, California


Pay Rate: $60/hr


Contract: 13 weeks


Schedule: Monday-Friday day shifts; some shared call required


Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week, except holiday weeks


Experience: Minimum 3 years required


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulator Registered Nurse for a 13-week quick-start contract opportunity in Arcata, California. This role supports surgical services and requires strong OR circulating experience, patient safety focus, perioperative care skills, and flexibility for shared call coverage.


Responsibilities
• Provide circulating nurse support during operating room procedures
• Coordinate patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Maintain a safe surgical environment and support sterile technique standards
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, surgical technologists, and the perioperative team
• Document surgical care accurately using CPSI/Evident and support smooth OR workflow


Requirements
• Active California Registered Nurse License Required
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room circulating experience required
• BLS/BCLS Certification Required
• TB clearance completed within the last 12 months required
• Must be available for Monday-Friday day shifts and some shared call coverage
