Manager, Digital Analytics

Our client, the leader in luxury, high-speed rail transportation, is seeking a highly-detailed and customer-oriented contract Manager, Digital Analytics to join their Analytics team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has at 5-7 years of experience in marketing analytics and strong foundational AEP and SQL skills.

In this role, you will support marketing performance analysis, reporting, and insights generation. You will work closely with marketing stakeholders to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize performance, and help drive data-informed decision-making.

The Role:

As Manager, Digital Analytics , you will leverage the Adobe Experience Platform (including Adobe Customer Journey Analytics), as well as guide and develop a team of analysts, to turn web and app data into reporting, insights, and recommendations.

You will work with senior leadership, Marketing, Digital Production, and Segmentation partners to understand what they need to know, then shape the data, tools, and reports that answer it. You will also work closely with our Data Engineering teams to move data reliably between Adobe and our Databricks warehouse.

What You Will Do:

AEP Platform administration

• Administer AEP and implement approved designs; consult on schema, dataset and identity changes.
• Design and maintain CJA connections, data views, derived fields, metrics, and dimensions so that journeys across web and app are measured consistently.
• Maintain and enforce governance standards and document definitions.
• Partner with the tagging and engineering owners for QA implementation.
• Recommend improvements and contribute to the roadmap.

Data integration

• Partner with Data Engineering to design, monitor, and improve data flows between Adobe and Databricks in both directions.
• Provide requirements and validate data reconciliation with Data Engineering.
• Use SQL to investigate data, validate pipelines, and support deeper analysis.

Team development

• Coach and mentor digital analysts, giving regular feedback and supporting each person's growth.
• Set priorities, review work for accuracy and clarity, and encourage a collaborative team culture where questions and new ideas are welcome.
• Establish team practices for requirements-gathering, documentation, peer review, and knowledge sharing.

Reporting and insights

• Guide the team in building dashboards, reports, and analyses in CJA Workspace and other reporting tools to track key performance indicators for web and app.
• Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear reporting and measurement plans.
• Present to Marketing and Digital leadership and provide support to senior-leader presentations.
• Support Product and Marketing teams with opportunity sizing and with the design and measurement of tests.

Collaboration

• Work with Marketing, Digital Production, and Segmentation teams to make sure the right data is collected and that audiences and reports reflect how our travelers behave.
• Stay current on Adobe releases and industry developments and recommend changes that would benefit Brightline.

What You Bring:

Required

• 5-7 years of experience in digital analytics with 1-2+ years of leading or mentoring analysts.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, including data views, derived fields, and Workspace reporting.
• Working SQL skills for querying and validating data.
• Experience gathering requirements from business partners and turning them into reporting and measurement solutions.
• Experience presenting data and recommendations to senior leaders, with clear written and verbal communication.
• A bachelor's degree in business, data science, statistics, economics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred

• Administration experience within Adobe Analytics or Adobe Experience Platform.
• Experience working with a cloud data warehouse such as Databricks, and with data engineering teams on data movement between platforms.
• Familiarity with Adobe Web SDK or Mobile SDK, Adobe Data Collection (tags), and data layers.
• Python or R for analysis.
• Experience with attribution, segmentation, or experimentation.
• Experience with data governance and privacy practices.
• Experience with web and mobile app analytics in a consumer-facing business.
