Travel Long Term Acute Care (RN) - $1,924 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a permanent 13‑week assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements We’re looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel opening in a Long‑Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Tulsa, OK. The right RN should have at least one year of recent experience in a Long‑Term Acute Care or similar high‑acuity setting. The assignment is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week, with 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type is travel. Specialty: Long Term Acute Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Perform head‑to‑toe assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Administer IV medications, manage central lines, and monitor vital signs and lab results Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care, as well as advanced wound management Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers for ongoing treatment plans Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring proper patient care delivery Adhere to strict infection control protocols and facility safety standards Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate patient status updates Document all care activities and interventions accurately and in real time Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning Qualifications The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an RN in a Long‑Term Acute Care setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and be eligible for state licensure. Additional certifications may be required.
