Billing Specialist
$21 per hourWe are seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Accounting Coordinator to join our client's Regional Finance team. In this role, you will manage project registrations, prepare accurate client invoices, support collections, and handle procurement tasks for the firm. This is a contract position with an opportunity for permanent. Hybrid work schedule. salary: $21 - $24 per hour

education: Associate Responsibilities
- Project Setup & Maintenance: Review new project registrations against contracts, process change orders, update project files, and maintain electronic records per QA guidelines.
- Billing & WIP Management: Prepare, draft, and finalize monthly client invoices, ensuring all backup documentation, payment applications, and lien waivers are attached. Distribute invoices via portal, email, or mail.
- Accounts Receivable & Collections: Follow up on past-due invoices with clients, log updates in the collections tool, and collaborate with Project Managers to resolve billing issues.
- Procurement & Support: Onboard new suppliers, issue purchase requisitions, log receipts for incoming invoices, and assist with credit card reconciliations.
- Education & Experience: Associate’s degree in a related field OR a High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of accounting-related experience.
- Skills: High attention to detail, written/verbal communication, and the ability to meet tight deadlines under minimal supervision.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (may be required).
- Billing (1 year of experience is required)
- Accounts Receivable (1 year of experience is required)
