Location: Independence, MO Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 AM5:00 PM Patient Flow: 12 patients per hour Pay Range: $80K$90K for experienced Physical Therapists
About the Role
This Physical Therapist position offers a steady MondayFriday schedule, manageable patient volume, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on each patient's recovery.
As a PT, your work will focus on helping patients move better, regain strength, improve function, and work toward goals that matter in everyday life. You will evaluate each patient, create a clear treatment plan, guide therapy sessions, and adjust care as progress is made.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient evaluations and functional assessments
- Create treatment plans that match patient goals, diagnoses, and recovery needs
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, balance training, gait training, and mobility support
- Educate patients on home exercises, body mechanics, injury prevention, and recovery expectations
- Monitor outcomes and modify treatment plans based on progress
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Coordinate care with physicians, referral sources, and other healthcare professionals as needed
- Help patients build strength, movement confidence, and independence
