Project AccountantA growing construction management company is seeking a Project Accountant to join its Construction Finance & Accounting team. This Project Accountant will partner closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance and support projects from setup through closeout.Project Accountant HighlightsHybrid flexibility after initial trainingExcellent growth opportunity with increased project ownership over timeExposure to high-profile construction projects across multiple asset typesBacked by an established real estate organization with strong industry experienceStrong benefits package including 401(k) match, PTO, sick time, and 12 paid holidaysProject Accountant ResponsibilitiesManage project budgets, job costs, and monthly projectionsPrepare owner billings, including AIA G702/G703Manage retainage, lien waivers, and subcontractor complianceReview and cost-code invoices and resolve discrepanciesSupport project forecasting, audits, reconciliations, and closeoutProject Accountant Qualifications2+ years of project accounting experienceConstruction industry experience strongly preferredKnowledge of AIA billing, job costing, revenue recognition, retainage, and lien waiversStrong Excel skills; Sage, Procore, or TimberScan experience is a plusStrong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
