Position: Neurologist
Our organization is seeking a full-time General Neurologist to become a vital part of our enthusiastic neurology team in Newington, CT. The ideal candidate should be adept at handling a wide array of general neurology cases and possess clinical experience, particularly in movement disorders. While proficiency in performing electromyography (EMGs) and administering botulinum toxin (Botox) injections is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Work ScheduleMonday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive neurology services within the VA system, adhering to clinical privileges in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Participate in the inpatient on-call rotation alongside section physicians.
- Experience in general neurology, with a focus on providing care to both outpatient and inpatient populations, particularly those with movement disorders, is preferred.
- Proficiency in EMG studies and Botox administration is advantageous but not essential.
- Board certification is preferred; however, board eligibility in neurology will also be considered.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and hold an M.D. or D.O. degree.
- A current, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in any state is required.
- Completion of a full Neurology Residency program is necessary.
