Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums 24-hour Call Coverage September + October, Holidays in November/December + Ongoing

Norfolk-Virginia Beach area facility needs Cardiothoracic Surgery locums assistance. Assignment is expected to extend into 2027 and will allow for a consistent work schedule for the foreseeable future.

Seeking 24-Hour Call Coverage:
- 7am 9/4 - 7am 9/9 (5 days)
- 7am 10/8 - 7am 10/13 (5 days)
- 7am 11/9 - 7am 11/17 (8 days)
- 7am 11/24 - 7am 12/1 (7 days Thanksgiving Day Included)
- 7am 12/21 - 7am 1/4/2027 (14 consecutive days, Christmas + New Years coverage)

Details for Assignment :
Active + unrestricted Virginia license required
Board Certification required
Seeking CT Surgery 24-hour ED call coverage
Will work an average of 4-6 hours per day on site (lower volume on weekends generally)
CT APP Support available for first assist & inpatient support
Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery (VATS) experience/skill is preferred; Robotics are available while on assignment but not required
Seeing mid-low volumes currently and anticipate 3-5 cases per week, 1-2 per weekend
Epic EMR inpatient, Cerner outpatient, 295+ bed facility, not a designated trauma facility
