Job Description
## Title
Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum - Traveler

## Schedule
- Shift: Nights (18:45-07:15)
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Call: Required - 2 mandatory call shifts per 6-week schedule

## Assignment Details
- Assignment length: 13 weeks

## Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience required
- Traveler experience required
- BLS certification required
- AWHONN certification required
- NRP certification required
- Preferred: EPIC charting experience

## Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide couplet care for mother and baby in a LDRP setting.
- Conduct external and internal fetal monitoring.
- Recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and manage postpartum hemorrhage.
- Offer breastfeeding and lactation support, along with newborn assessments.

## Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Pre-start testing: Candidate must go to lab within 48 hours after signing; all testing must be completed within 48 hours.
- License: NC or compact license pending acceptable for submittal.
