Job Summary

We are seeking a Residential Leasing Specialist to join our property management team. You will handle the entire leasing process, from marketing vacancies to signing new tenants. Your primary goal is to maintain high occupancy rates and deliver exceptional customer service. The position will begin as a part-time position and will mainly be home based. However, there is the option for this to become a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation: Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and online leasing platforms.
• Property Tours: Conduct engaging, persuasive tours of apartments and community amenities.
• Yardi Management: Utilize Yardi software to track leads, update unit availability, and log communications.
• Lease Execution: Prepare, explain, and finalize legal lease agreements and collect move-in fees.
• Maintenance Coordination: Receive, log, and prioritize resident maintenance requests inside Yardi.
• Work Order Follow-up: Coordinate with the maintenance team and follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction.
• Operations Support: Assist the Property Manager with rent collection, delinquency notices, and vendor schedules.
• Property Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of vacant units, models, and common areas for quality control.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Software: Experience with Yardi property management software is highly preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years in residential leasing, hospitality, or retail sales preferred.
• Licensing: A real estate license is not required for this position.
• Schedule: Must have flexibility to work weekends when peak traffic occurs.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
