Clinical & Business Operations Analyst

Pay is commensurate with experience beginning at $66,000 annually. Full time, exempt, benefits eligible. Responsibilities: The Clinical and Business Operations Analyst at Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center plays a critical role in optimizing the organization's clinical and business operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Quality Improvement, this position combines clinical knowledge with strong analytical and data architectural skills to drive data-driven decision-making and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our behavioral health services and business operations. Duties include but aren't limited to:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to clinical and business operations.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) related to CCBHC, CARF, County, and State requirements.
  • Lead CARF initiatives related to data management, collection, and analysis standards.
  • Employ advanced data mining techniques to unearth key insights from large, complex data sets. Extract, manipulate, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and relationships.
  • Predictive Modeling : Develop and implement sophisticated predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques. Continuously refine these models to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Visualization : Create intuitive and compelling data visualizations and reports for both technical and non-technical audiences, effectively communicating complex analytical findings.
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and challenges. Provide expert consultation on the use of data mining and predictive analytics to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new technology tools.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving clinical and business operations.
Qualifications: The Clinical and Business Operations Analyst position requires but not limited to:
  • Minimum 4-year bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, health information management, or related field.
  • Clinical background or experience working with clinical providers in mental health field is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, process/quality improvement, and project management. Lean Six Sigma or related background desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in working with a diverse workforce and external community stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • An ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team, across departments, and programs.
  • Flexibility in assigned working hours.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
