Tech - CT

Job Summary:


Seeking a skilled CT Tech to join a busy trauma and stroke center for a 13-week travel assignment. The role involves performing high-volume advanced CT procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting individual and team patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures adhering to protocols and safety standards.
• Operate GE scanners and other imaging equipment with precision to deliver diagnostic quality images.
• Collaborate effectively with radiology team, ER, trauma, and stroke center staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with unit policies and procedures.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and report any malfunctions.
• Uphold patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current ARRT (R) certification and BLS certification.
• Possess active Kansas licensure for Radiologic Technologists.
• Have a minimum of 6 months current acute care CT tech experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced CT procedures, including CTA chest, neck, abdomen, and stroke protocols.
• Prior experience with GE scanners and Meditech EMR is preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
