About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 21 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience Willingness to work holidays as required Ability to float within facility/scope of practice Description: This position requires a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). Travelers will be expected to be available to work all holidays that are not included in contracted requests for time off. Call is required, typically one week day/call every week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks. Candidates will be clinically screened to ensure a fit for the role before final decisions are made. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. For two major holidays, the traveler must work both. For three major holidays, the traveler must work two. Flexibility is required to float within the facility as needed based on patient care demands. Candidates with experience in trauma care and who have previously provided care in a critical environment are preferred. Agency requests for time off must be finalized prior to submission, as no scheduling requests can be made post-offer or onsite. Compliance is essential for a timely start; all necessary documents must be completed as required. Travelers are expected to complete any orientation and training requirements prior to starting in the unit. Management reserves the right to adjust staff assignments as necessary to meet the needs of the unit.
