Job Title: Enterprise Data Architecture Lead Overview Senior data leader responsible for shaping enterprise data strategy, modernizing platforms, and driving alignment between engineering, infrastructure, and business priorities. This role works closely with leadership and has strong visibility across the organization. Key Responsibilities Define enterprise data architecture across warehouse, lake, and hybrid environments Design and scale cloud-based data platforms aligned to business goals Improve engineering workflows through automation and delivery best practices Support adoption of advanced analytics and AI capabilities Partner with leadership to translate data into business value Establish data governance, security, and quality standards Manage cloud performance, cost, and resource planning Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams Requirements 7 years in data engineering or data infrastructure roles Strong experience with Python, SQL, and data pipeline development Background working with modern cloud data platforms (Azure-based or similar) Experience building scalable, enterprise-level data solutions Knowledge of automation, deployment pipelines, and engineering best practices Understanding of data governance, security, and system integration Able to operate both strategically and hands-on Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
