Employee Benefits Analyst

$34 - $36 per hour

Job Summary The Analyst will participate in a company‑provided training program that introduces all aspects of health and welfare benefits and the financial methodology to analyze benefit costs. The analyst will work within assigned teams to perform daily account service for all assigned clients. Supports the development of the firm’s work products that benefit all clients, including the production of surveys and research on employee benefit topics and benchmarking. This is a full‑time, in‑office position based in Framingham, MA. Essential Duties and Functions With oversight, provides technical support for projects and client engagements. Performs data & financial analytics with oversight, working toward ownership of monthly financial reports and initial budget underwriting for less complex clients; seeks and documents peer review on all work. Coordinates the activities of RFPs with oversight, implementations, and renewals; develops and presents results comparisons for presentation to clients. Conducts benefits benchmarking research and analysis. Assists in the review of internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, summary plan documents, and employee communications to ensure alignment with client expectations, legal requirements, and documentation with client vendors where appropriate. Participates in client calls and meetings as directed by team leads and ensures documentation of call notes and follow‑ups. Stays current on industry trends and information, new product development, legislation, coverages, and technology. Provides excellent customer service to all clients. Promotes teamwork, support, and a office and with other teammates. Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a demanding work environment. Proficient with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Life and Health license in good standing, required within 90 days of hire. Physical Requirements Manual dexterity, arm, and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse, and telephone (7‑8 hours per day). Speech and hearing sufficient for in‑person and telephone communication (7‑8 hours per day). Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor. Ability to sit at a desk (7‑8 hours per day). Reliable transportation to and from work. Compensation Pay Range: $34.00 – $36.00 hourly.
