We are currently hiring for a full-time Medical Assistant to work at our West Chester, PA office. Traveling is required to our West Grove, Kennett Square and Downingtown, PA offices as well.Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.ResponsibilitiesWork with an assigned physician dailyEscort patients to the exam roomRecord medical information, review medications, and obtain vital signsPerform stress testing and EKGsFollow up on lab resultsAnswer phones and assist with check-in/out procedures if necessaryAssist with appointment scheduling.Review and prepare the next day's assignmentsOther duties as assignedRequirementsMust be a certified or registered Medical AssistantBLS preferred through the American Heart Association (AHA)Must have at least 2-3 years of experience as a Medical AssistantFamiliarity with various cardiology-related procedures such as stress tests, managing Coumadin therapy, and Holter monitors are a plusMust have the ability to multitaskComputer knowledge is a mustExperience with an EMR system is a plusMust be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoingBenefitsCardiology Consultants of Philadelphia provides medical, vision, dental, 401k, profit sharing, LTD, generous PTO, and paid holiday time.*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus.
