Registered NurseHouston, Texas, United StatesRoles & Responsibilities:The RN provides professional nursing care to a diverse patient population, conducts nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records.Direct patient care effectively and efficiently which may include patients with varied and complex needs.Communicates and collaborates with the physicians and inter-professional health care team to facilitate, coordinate and maintain compassionate, efficient, quality care and achievement of desired treatment outcomes.Demonstrates clinical competence when providing care, using technology, administering medications, performing procedures and managing emergencies, acting as a patient and family advocate in order to monitor and maintain patient rights.Assumes leadership roles with progressive responsibility including but not limited to participating in or leading unit and shared governance initiatives, serving as charge nurse or preceptor to students or new employees, and possibly contributing to service line or hospital-wide initiatives in partnership with management.Location: Houston, TX (must be willing to relocate)Candidate Must Haves:Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing1 - 3 years. Emergency Room Nursing or Med Surgery ExperienceAt least 1 year of acute care experience in a trauma 1, 2, or 3 hospitals.Must have at least 2 years in an ER settingACLSPALSBLSTX license or compact license requiredMust be OPEN TO NIGHT SHIFTSNo travel - will work in the hospitalAdditional Guidelines:Sign on bonus, relocation and visa sponsorship availableWill provide relocation if they do not live in Houston, TX.Should be able to join in 30 DaysHiring all shifts - days, nightsWill hire from Mexico and Canada on a TN visa - no cost to candidateFor International candidates - need to have passed NCLEX, IELTS or TOEFL and have a VISA screen certificate ready
