Receptionist

Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview We are looking for a high-energy candidate to fill our full-time, front-desk receptionist position. This candidate should have a dynamic personality and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Steel Dynamics, Inc offers a tremendous compensation package as well as the opportunity to grow with the company. Responsibilities Operation of a multi-line, fast-paced switchboard, M-F 8 am-5 pm Open and distribute daily incoming and outgoing mail Monitor front door, greet, and sign in all visitors Organize, maintain, and re-order office supplies Maintain and distribute plant-wide contact list Assist the Finance Department with various duties, including, but not limited to: Supporting the payables/receivables teams as needed Document scanning and filing Provide administrative help for special projects/initiatives as needed. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED Strong oral and written communication skills Self-motivated, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and stay organized Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint Ability to maintain utmost confidentiality and work with people from all levels and backgrounds Willing to go the "extra mile" for service and problem resolution Preferred Some post-secondary education in business/accounting or equivalent experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable Previous experience on a multi-line switchboard Prior experience in a manufacturing environment Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers. #J-18808-Ljbffr Steel-Dynamic
