Senior System Administrator – Tucson, AZ (Onsite) U.S. citizenship is required. This is a U.S.-based role demanding an active and transferable Secret security clearance prior to start date. Responsibilities Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Apply knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods. Collaborate as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, integrating hardware and operating systems. Implement data RAID, backup and recovery technologies. Install and configure software applications requested by end users. Work with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements, provide documentation, and deliver training on advanced IT processes and procedures. Qualifications – You Must Have Minimum of two years of prior relevant experience and a university degree or equivalent experience. Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date, with the ability to obtain program access after start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Experience with Windows and technologies such as Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, Veeam, AWS, MySQL, Remote Desktop Gateway, and Netwrix. Experience with backup and recovery enterprise suites. We Value Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification). Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF. Experience in Windows Server environments. Experience with Zero Clients and data storage solutions including NAS and SAN. Experience with IT project lifecycle management processes. Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods. Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development. Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, and/or Exchange. High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment. Scripting experience. Relocation eligibility. Benefits Salary range 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD.
