Step into a rewarding contract opportunity tailored for a licensed Physical Therapist with a passion for making a meaningful impact in a school environment. In this part-time position, you’ll play a vital role in supporting student development across multiple buildings, working closely with a supportive team and an onsite Physical Therapist Assistant.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of 20-25 students efficiently
- Comfortable working across six school buildings
- Dedication to individualized student care plans
Responsibilities in This Position:
- Provide physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess student needs, develop goals, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student mobility and participation
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting therapy plans as needed
- Supervise and consult with the onsite Physical Therapist Assistant
- Travel between school buildings as required during the 2-3 day workweek
- Maintain compliance with all administrative and documentation requirements
