First-Time Travelers: Accepted, provided they are comfortable working independently. Education & Certifications: Graduate of a Radiology school. BLS and ARRT-CT required. (No state license required for South Dakota). Clinical Skills & Patient Types Patient Types: Peds through geriatrics. Walk-in ED patients (ambulances not accepted at this time), scheduled outpatient scans, walk-ins, and ER patients. Scan Types: Extremities, spine, abdomen, general CT, and X-ray scans. No neuro or cardiac (except strokes, which are quickly transferred out); no special procedures. Core Responsibilities: Must be comfortable performing both CT and X-ray duties independently as a solo tech. Charting & Technology: EPIC (EMR), Sectra (PACS), Siemens CT (Go Excite Software), and CareStream X-ray room/portable equipment preferred. Scheduling & Unit Details Shift Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM. On-Call: No on-call requirement. Holidays: Expectation to work 50% of holidays in the contract.
