Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Stepdown Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/23/2026 Duration: 8 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Medical-Surgical Stepdown | Ohio | 8-Week Contract We're hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 8week Travel Medical-Surgical Stepdown assignment in Ohio ! Join a dedicated 29-bed stepdown unit providing specialized care for cardiac and stroke patients in a collaborative acute care environment. Job Details Location: Ohio Duration: 8 Weeks Unit: Medical-Surgical Stepdown Shift: Nights (36 hours/week) Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for Medical-Surgical Stepdown patients. Monitor patients with cardiac conditions, including CHF, arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, and acute MI. Care for stroke patients and perform NIH Stroke Scale assessments. Administer medications, IV therapy, blood transfusions, and infusion therapy. Manage cardiac telemetry and central lines. Care for patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, and APAP therapy. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Educate patients and families while ensuring accurate documentation. Requirements Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
