Benefits Overview Medical (Wellmark Blue Cross & Blue Shield) Location: Orange City, IA Pay: $19 - $22 per hour About the role: The Business Support Specialist role is responsible for coordinating new customer sales, supporting the Consumer Coatings Solutions (CCS) sales and marketing team, and providing technical expertise to both consumers and contractors. This position manages the new customer experience—from display design to order fulfillment—while assisting sales teams with tracking orders, training retail store staff, coordinating Trade shows, maintaining promotional materials, supporting marketing efforts, and providing excellent customer service. This position supports the Central and Western sales territories. What you’ll do: Drive Safety and Compliance Excellence. Champion Diamond Vogel’s purpose and values and inspire others to uphold company values. Prepare store proposals, planograms, and coordinate pricing and proposed orders under Sales Manager guidance. Ensure timely shipping of new customer orders in coordination with Operations. Work with Sales Manager or agency to determine product mix for new customers and coordinate product trade-outs, including collection of competitive products. Facilitate transaction adjustments and communicate changes to Operations and Office teams. Respond to product inquiries and assist customers with project, product, and application issues. Provide Safety Data Sheets and product tint formulations as requested. Coordinate with Product Manager and Lab on technical issues. Support order processing, pricing, and scheduling questions. Maintain strong communication with customers, Sales Managers, and sales agencies. Assist with data entry, including regulatory specifications, product specifications, and company pricing. Help customers locate Old Masters dealers in their area. Assist with national and regional distributor shows, including paperwork, scheduling, and material preparation. ork with Accounting to process show payments and track expenses. Prepare materials for shows, such as display cans, demonstration kits, booths, and sales aids. Assist with updating sales materials, maintaining the website, and creating promotional materials. Coordinate custom literature and presentation binders with the Marketing Manager. Support mailings and other administrative duties as needed. Input and maintain customer quotes in the Old Masters quote system. What skills and experience you’ll need: Experience in sales coordination, customer service, or technical support. Knowledge of coatings, finishes, or related products is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer-focused, proactive, and collaborative.
