Full-Time Home Health Aide (HHA)

Anova Care is looking for compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Home Health Aides to join our team!

Qualifications

• Current HHA certification
• Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful when working with clients
• Comfortable assisting clients with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Comfortable assisting with mobility, transfers, and safety needs
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional attitude and commitment to maintaining client privacy and dignity
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and instructions
  

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and maintaining client safety
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care needs as appropriate
• Provide light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed
• Follow the client's individualized care plan and care instructions
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate supervisor
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for the client
• Encourage independence while providing appropriate support
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and caring relationship with clients and their families
• Communicate effectively with the care team regarding client needs and concerns
• Provide dependable, high-quality care in accordance with Anova Care's standards
