Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. This position involves providing respiratory care to patients with various cardiopulmonary disorders and requires a strong commitment to patient evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Interview and examine patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop effective treatment plans.
• Monitor and document the progress of treatments in patient charts accurately.
• Administer treatments using a variety of methods, including chest physiotherapy and aerosol therapies.
• Assist with patient education regarding respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Current certification in ACLS and BLS.
• Licensed as a CRT and RRT.
• Graduated from an accredited respiratory therapy program and passed the certification exam.
• Ability to perform prolonged standing and/or sitting duties.
• May require infrequent bending, stooping, or stretching.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed.
• Competent in eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, telephones, fax machines, and copiers.
• Flexibility in hours to accommodate early or late meetings as required.
