Classification Description Repairs Specialty Qualifications Knowledge. Knowledge of the principles applying to aircraft systems, concepts and applications of maintenance directives and data reporting, and using technical data is mandatory. Knowledge of Air Force supply and deficiency reporting procedures and the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials is mandatory. Knowledge of MIS (CAMS/IMDS) and desktop computer operations and use is mandatory. Must have working knowledge of Air Force supply procedures to look up, place orders, receive and maintain parts and materials to complete assigned work. Education. Completion of high school with courses in mathematics is desirable. Completion of a basic applicable aircraft maintenance course is mandatory. Experience. Qualification as Aircraft Worker is mandatory. A minimum of three years of performing functions, such as installing, inspecting, repairing or overhauling aircraft structures, systems, and components, is mandatory. Special Certifications And Qualifications Required For Position In addition to the required qualifications in the attached job description, you must be a fully qualified AR technician to fulfill this requirement. You must have held an AR position on F-15s and possess the required qualifications in the attached job description (flight controls / canopy rigging). Crash recovery training or team chief training highly desirable. Must be able to travel in performance of these duties. Must be able to obtain and maintain a flight line drivers license. SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
