Jr. Graphic Designer

Junior DesignerThe Junior Designer supports the Creative Services team by producing thoughtful, high-quality design work across a variety of client and internal projects. Working closely with and receiving mentorship from the Manager of Creative Services, this position provides an opportunity for an emerging designer to strengthen their creative skills, gain experience across multiple types of projects, and develop a deeper understanding of brand strategy, client needs and the creative process.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Design and produce creative assets for print, digital, environmental graphics, signage, branded environments, presentations, social media, and marketing materials.Develop design concepts, layouts, and production-ready artwork that align with client brand standards, project objectives, and creative direction.Prepare and organize files for production, ensuring artwork is accurate, press-ready, and meets required specifications.Collaborate with Creative Services, Sales, Account Managers, Project Managers, and Production teams to execute projects from concept through final delivery.Apply typography, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy to create engaging, effective designs.Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas that enhance client experiences and project outcomes.Revise artwork based on client feedback while balancing creative integrity, timelines, and project requirements.Maintain digital asset libraries, templates, fonts, logos, photography, historical files, and other creative resources.Ensure consistency across all client deliverables by following established brand standards and quality expectations.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and communicating project status proactively.Support photo editing, image retouching, mockups, presentations, and visual concepts as needed.Continuously develop technical skills, design knowledge, and industry best practices through ongoing learning and collaboration.Assist with quality reviews and proofing to ensure final deliverables meet Elevate97's standards for creativity, accuracy, and execution.Perform other duties as assigned.Education and Experience:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred.0-3 years of professional graphic design experience or equivalent internship experience.Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, layout design, typography, branding, and production capabilities.Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) required.Experience with Microsoft Office and presentation software preferred.Experience preparing print production files and understanding print processes is preferred.Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, color theory, composition, and layout.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to receive and implement constructive feedback while maintaining a positive attitude.Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and visually.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Working knowledge of print production methods, large-format graphics, signage, and digital asset preparation is preferred.Passion for continuous learning and professional growth.Values & Their Competencies:Creativity:Innovator- Develops fresh ideas that provide solutions for our clients and workplace challenges.Visionary- Sees the big, long-range picture.Dreamer- Dreams big.Challenger- Challenging the status quo is par for the course, and done in the spirit of getting to the best solutions and the most brilliant ideas.Risk Taker- Understands that risk is often necessary to actualize big goals.Accountability:Accountable- Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, and achieves results with little oversight.Development-Displays ongoing commitment to learning and improvement for self and the team.Client Focused- Builds and maintains client satisfaction with the products and services offered.Goal Driven- Has the ability to maintain goal direction in spite of obstacles;
