Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Omni Commerce Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, cloud platforms, and deployment orchestration. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure supporting omnichannel commerce applications across web, mobile, APIs, and microservices.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Opsera, Terraform, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure, along with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, containerization, GitOps, and cloud-native DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable cloud infrastructure supporting Omni Commerce platforms.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Opsera to automate software delivery across multiple environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters (GKE/AKS) and containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement GitOps deployment strategies using tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
• Collaborate with software engineering, QA, security, and platform teams to streamline release processes.
• Build deployment automation, rollback strategies, and blue-green/canary deployment pipelines.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and observability through proactive monitoring and automation.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting using cloud-native and third-party tools.
• Implement security best practices, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.
• Optimize infrastructure costs through cloud resource monitoring and automation.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and production troubleshooting.
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend DevOps best practices across engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Opsera for CI/CD pipeline orchestration.
• Extensive experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience deploying and managing workloads on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Kubernetes (GKE/AKS) and Docker containers.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and release automation.
• Experience managing Git repositories using GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, VPCs, Load Balancers, DNS, SSL, and security best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale Omni Commerce or eCommerce platforms.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with ArgoCD, Helm, or Flux.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of API Gateway technologies.
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, or messaging platforms.
• Understanding of CDN technologies and edge deployments.
• Experience supporting high-availability production environments.
