Maintenance Technician

Walk‑in Interviews and Location Walk‑in interviews every Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 5290 Villa Way, Edina, MN 55436. Position Maintenance Technician – Venue on 78th, located in Chanhassen, MN. Full‑time, 40 hours per week. Compensation Hourly Rate: Starting at $26.00 per hour. Emergency On‑Call Emergency on‑call is optional, lucrative opportunities available if desired. Licenses Boiler/CPO Licenses are not a requirement for this position. Willingness to obtain one is expected. Highland Management Group pays for educational costs, training, and licensing, including exam fees. Duties & Responsibilities Ensure resident satisfaction through regular upkeep of the property, including preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement. Complete maintenance requests from residents as received on work orders. Check fire extinguishers and smoke detectors monthly and check boilers daily. Maintain working knowledge of water and gas meter shut‑offs, all apartment fixture shut‑off locations, and sewer clean‑outs. Assure cleanliness and good repair of vacant units. Check pools (if applicable) and complete miscellaneous inspections & reports. Report regularly to Property Manager on projected maintenance and service expenses. Perform other miscellaneous tasks as requested by managers.
