Summary As a Senior Automation Tester (AI & Gherkin-Based Testing) at Gainwell, you will focus on leading end-to-end testing for complex, integrated systems by designing automation frameworks (using Gherkin/BDD) and ensuring accuracy across AI-generated requirements, data validation, and business logic. It also involves driving defect management and collaborating across teams to ensure high-quality, reliable system performance and readiness.Your role in our mission Lead the design and execution of test strategies for end-to-end transaction flows across integrated systems Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Gherkin (BDD) aligned with business requirements Validate AI-generated requirements and test scenarios, ensuring accuracy of business rules, data mappings, and eligibility logic Perform data validation and integration testing across complex processing flows, including batch and real-time systems Drive defect management, regression testing, and traceability from requirements to test outcomes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support performance validation and overall solution readiness What we're looking for 6+ years of experience in software testing, including automation, integration, and system testing Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks and automation tools (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium) Experience testing complex multi-system integrations, APIs, and data processing workflows Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and validation of AI-generated test artifacts Strong knowledge of SQL, data validation, and requirements-to-test traceability practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams What you should expect in this role Fully remote options from Contiguous US locations only Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation The deadline to submit applications for this posting is July 9, 2026

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
