Regional Sales Manager

Position Overview Regional Sales Manager – Pumps, Cyclones, and Valves for Nevada, Utah and other Northwestern states. This role is responsible for FLS Technical Product Sales of Slurry Pumps, Hydro-cyclones, and Valves in the Northwestern States (NV, UT, CO, OR, WY, ID). The position supports existing installations, increases market share, and develops new market opportunities. This individual contributor reports to the US Sales Director for Pumps, Cyclones, and Valves. The ideal candidate resides in Tucson, Salt Lake City or Nevada. Responsibilities Lead the sales process for FLS products, including product proposals, key customer relationships, equipment selections, technical sales, pricing strategies, negotiations, and order securing. Oversee and manage sales through a major distributor, providing technical support to service and grow the installed base in assigned territories. Lead site conversions of competitor installations, propose solutions that improve pump and cyclone performance and reduce total cost of ownership. Develop strategies to protect the FLS installed base and ensure technical and operational support within the broader FLS product and Site Sales support networks. Prioritize, manage, and drive cross-regional team outcomes to deliver on customer commitments. Prospect for new clients and drive business development to increase revenue. Grow, develop, engage, and motivate a large and diverse sales and product support team to increase customer satisfaction. Ensure product design meets US safety standards and maintain quality focus. Develop business plans and attend industry events to share market trends and receive feedback. Job Features Travel: 50% to 75% of time expected. Qualifications B.S. degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent with significant field service technical solutions selling experience. 10+ years of experience selling in the mining industry, especially within Iron Range territories. Expert understanding of FLS pumps, cyclones, and valves or competitor products. Strong network of key stakeholders in the mineral processing industry. Ability to develop strong relationships and credibility internally and with external clients. Business acumen to set realistic plans with stretch targets and clear execution paths. Negotiation skills with successful experience in company representation. High sales skill with ability to close deals and collaborate with local sales teams. Versatile ability to work individually or in a team on multiple concurrent projects. Proficient in MS Office suite. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
