Coach. Inspire. Take Fitness Further. GYMGUYZ East Bay & Tri-Valley is seeking a Sales & Assessment Manager (Master Trainer) who combines fitness expertise with strong sales ability. This role is responsible for converting leads into clients by conducting fitness assessments, recommending training programs, and closing package sales. The role also supports client success through mid-point reassessments and program adjustments while assisting the trainer team with program design. This individual will represent the brand in the community through field marketing, van drives, wellness tables, and local outreach events. What’s In It For You Competitive pay ($40 - $60/hr) + sales bonuses $750 Weekly stipend Flexible schedule + daily variety training outside the gym Leadership path with opportunities to influence and grow a team Paid onboarding and ongoing professional development Recertification discounts + continuing education support Recognition and advancement within the GYMGUYZ network Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Acquisition Respond to inbound leads and phone calls (RingCentral) Schedule and confirm complimentary fitness assessments Conduct in-home or on-site fitness assessments Recommend training programs and close training package sales Maintain a high conversion rate from assessment to client Client Success & Retention Conduct mid-program reassessments Track progress and recommend additional training packages Ensure clients achieve measurable results Trainer Support Collaborate with trainers to ensure proper program design Assist with programming for new clients Ensure trainers follow brand standards and client experience expectations Marketing & Community Outreach Participate in local marketing efforts including van drives, community events, information tables, partnership visits, local business introductions, lead generation activities, community wellness events Support grassroots marketing such as yard signs, door hangers, van waves, and partnership visits to generate leads and build brand awareness Operations Manage scheduling and assessments through GYMGUYZ software systems Maintain accurate client notes and assessment documentation Drive the GYMGUYZ van when required Qualifications Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.) CPR/AED Certification 3+ years personal training experience Strong interpersonal and sales skills Ability to connect with clients and build trust Professional communication skills Experience in fitness sales or membership sales Experience conducting assessments and closing training packages Leadership or mentor experience with other trainers Why GYMGUYZ We’re the nation’s leader in mobile personal training — a brand built on flexibility, results, and teamwork.
